At Horizon Physiotherapy our mission is to improve your quality of life by providing exceptional individualised evidence-based hands-on Physiotherapy services which are thorough and effective. We strive to provide this health care in a friendly and educational manner.

As physiotherapists we are experts when it comes to assessing, diagnosing, educating and managing physical and movement disorders which lead to pain and disability. The Physiotherapists at Horizon Physiotherapy can work with you, your doctors and others involved in your health and well-being to help you to overcome your ailments whether they have been present since birth, have been acquired through accident or injury or are the result of ageing and lifestyle factors. Everyone is different, so our management of your conditions will be personalised, taking into consideration your health, lifestyle, goals and abilities.
Our Principal Physiotherapist, Kulika “KC” Jayasuriya graduated from Griffith University in 2008 with Bachelor Degrees in both Physiotherapy and Exercise Science. He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and is a registered practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

KC has extensive experience working in various clinical environments with many individuals from diverse backgrounds with differing health objectives. He has worked as a mobile community Physiotherapist, as a team Physiotherapist with sporting teams and individuals and he has experience working as an aged care Physiotherapist in nursing homes. He has spent the bulk of this career however working in private practice as a General Physiotherapist.
Throughout the years KC has worked with many medical and allied health professionals which has provided him with considerable knowledge and experience to successfully treat a wide range of conditions. Consequently he is able to help individuals improve their quality of life and physical function whether it be to return to sports, return to work or simply to be able to function in life with minimal discomfort or disability.

KC uses a combination of hands-on treatment techniques, therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, professional advice and patient education regarding their conditions and self management strategies as well as lifestyle and activity modification to help patients achieve their goals and to move well and feel better.
